The generous hood softly frames the face and the wavy cables create multitudes of lofty air pockets holding warmth against the shoulders, chest and back. Capes are a wonderful layering garment during changing weather temperatures.
This stunning cape is easy to knit and can be customized in length.
There is a button closure at the neckline and other buttonholes are optional and hidden within the cables. You may also choose to knit I-cord ties instead of having buttons.
Using Cascade Eco bulky weight yarn and large needles, it knits up more quickly than imagined. This cape is a nice pattern for beginners who want to practice cabling and other knitters as well.
