**Overview**
This hat is knitted using slip-stitch technique to create a fair isle type of pattern. As only one strand of yarn is in work each row, it makes a really easy way to create colourwork. **Tubular cast on technique is used** for casting on to give professional look as well as a nice strechy brim.
After creating the tubular cast on, the hat is knitted in round. An elastic thread is inserted into the brim to keep therib nice and stretchy.

**Size**
One size to fit a woman
**Gauge**
12 sts and 16 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch
**Needles**
US 13 (9 mm) circular (or size to obtain gauge). If you knit
loosely like me, take US 11 (8 mm) needles. The length of
the circular needles depends on the method you prefer for a
small diameter circular knitting. When you choose a magic
loop technique, take circulars at least 40” (100 cm) long.
