This open-front edge cardigan is worked bottom-up in reversed stockinette stitch in one piece, with the textured leaf motif for the front bands worked as you go. Shoulders are shaped with short rows and joined with a 3-needle bind-off. The front band is continued and later joined with a 3-needle bind-off at the center back and sewn with mattress stitch to the back neck. Finally, you pick up stitches for the sleeves and work them in the round, ending with a twisted rib cuff.
