This is the adult version of Gramps. Be sure to also check out the child's version--there is a slight overlap in the sizing!
Doesn’t your grandpa have a cozy cardigan to wear around the house? Cardigan is worked from the bottom up. Shawl collar is extended with short rows to be wider at the neckline. Cabling is worked on the fronts and modified for the sleeves, and the back is knit in a wide-wale rib. Cable pattern is fully written AND charted. Directions are provided for 3/4 length and full length sleeves.
Knit it oversized to be comfy like Gramps (shown in cream), or to your chest measurement for a little more sass (shown in pink). Design is unisex.
