This triangular shawl in four different subdued colors lets you look like “Good Old Days” – it’s knit from one corner to the widest part with stitches picked up along the edge and wedges knit on the side of the shawl, more stitches picked up along the top edge and a small Aster stitch border added at the end, resembling narrow strips of fabric stitched together.
While recreating the looks of the “Good Old Days”, you might want to still keep today’s conveniences, like circular needles and patterns you can use on your phone, though!
Materials: * The Plucky Knitter Snug Fingering (70% Wool – Merino, 20% Goat - Cashmere goat, 10% Camelid - Alpaca): 115g/ 385 yards.
4 colors: approx. 120 yards of Color 1 (C1), approx. 280 yards of Color 2 (C2) , approx. 350 yards of Color 3 (C3), and approx. 350 yards of Color 4 (C4) that knits up to gauge.
Gauge: 23 sts and 36 rows per 4” (10 cm) in garter stitch after blocking.
