I would rate this as a advanced beginner crocheter. A sewing machine is optional but preferable for doing up the side seems and hems. Straight, simple sewing. The crochet bodice is hand sewn on with a simple stitch. One yard of fabric is plenty for the skirt portion with ample left over for another project!
Sizes given in the pattern are for 6 months, 12 months and 18 months. The model in the photo is wearing size 6 months.
Clear, written instructions, no charts or stitch diagrams.
This is a really cute dress. I have made many. Add beaded or pom pom fringe to take it over the top.
