Détails du produit

My mother told me that she'd like me to design a sweater for her to knit ... a pullover with a boat neck and a little lace on the yoke and the sleeves, nothing too complicated ... well, her wish is my command!

Construction: Sweater front, back and sleeves are worked flat from the top down and seamed (although sweater body and sleeves could be worked in the round (just eliminate selvedge stitches) below underarms), with a stockinette body and wide ribs on the sleeves that transition beautifully into lace.

Gauge: 23 stitches and 35 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch, 20 stitches and 40 rows in pattern stitch. Measure gauge from the center stitches of a large washed and dried swatch.

Techniques used: Lace, short rows (explained).

Pattern includes: Written instructions, stitch patterns in both charted and written format, schematics, glossary.

Shown in size 37 worn with 1" ease on a 36" dress form.

Straight or circular needles - long cable for sweater body, shorter one for sleeves). Substitute any sport or other yarn that works nicely to gauge.
