Worked from the top down with garter stitch accents between the increase sections, this is a quick knit to make as a gift or for yourself.
Finished Size: approximately 33” at neck edge x 12 ½ “ deep. Will vary with cast on used and gauge achieved.
Yarn: Worsted weight, 550 yds. Sample made with Berroco Modern Cotton, 60% cotton/40% rayon, 209 yds [191m] / 3.5 oz [100g] 2 ½ skeins color #1654 Bluebird
Needles: Size US 7/4.5mm x 29” circular needle
Gauge: Gauge 22 sts in 4” unstretched. Gauge is not critical but may change yarn requirements. You do want a soft drape so looser is better than tightly knit. Cast-on edge will stretch. Stretch will vary with type of cast-on used. I used a stretchy Old Norwegian cast-on for my sample.
