A cosy, one ball cowl that is easier to make than it looks! First published in 2019 using Knitting Fever's Painted Desert, the pattern has now been updated to work with 100g of any weight of yarn. Specific instructions are given for 4-ply (the original pattern), DK, Aran and Chunky weight yarns, along with a guide to calculating your ideal cast-on with non-standard yarns such as hand-spun. The texture of the stitch pattern, which is derived from trellis stitch, combines well with long gradient colour changes, variegated or semi-solid yarns to create the impression of dragon’s skin
