Felted Star Ornaments

Each year, I design a new Holiday ornament. This year, I have enjoyed working with Noro Kureyon and experimented with using feather and fan lace pattern in a circular design to create these lovely felted star ornaments. After felting you can often see a few specks of light in the center of the star. A few glass beads are sewn into place after felting to add accent. I have made over 50 of these ornaments and no two are identical. They are wonderful for creating a color theme of ornaments for your tree with still keeping each one interesting and unique. Stars in photo are shown in both lightly and heavily felted styles. Finished size is 3-5 inches. Yardage of 15-18 yards per ornament.
