Détails du produit

The Eurasian badger is a very distinctive looking animal, related to otters, weasels and wolverines. Its short legs are very suitable for digging and the word badger is derived from the French word ‘bêcheur’, which actually means ‘digger’. While badgers have a reputation for being a tad defensive when bothered, the knitted species is rather Zen and won’t get its feathers ruffled easily!

This badger was knitted on 2.25 mm double pointed needles (UK 13, US 1) with Phildar Laine Mohair Soie (0101) Noir, Rowan Felted Tweed (177) clay and Lana Grossa Ragazza Voi (007) white and it measures 15 cm from nose to tail.

This project is an easy knit, that asks for some intarsia knitting, knitting in the round and flat, picking up and transferring stitches.
