Eggeees are awesome because they are quite a versatile pattern.
Why not.... add to bowls to decorate your house for springtime, add a little hanging loop and hang up or string them all together and make a lovely springtime bunting.
These are very quick and easy to make taking only 20-30 minutes per egg, making them a great last minute project. Also great for stashbusting those little odments of yarn that you keep in a basket but dont know what to use them for. You know the ones i'm talking about.
Knit flat on 3mm straight needles and seamed at the back, using DK yarn, they are very quick and easy. Great for beginners. To make them bigger simply use larger needles and thicker yarn. They measure approx 8cm tall by 6cm wide
