This easy, crochet hat pattern from Lily B's has been created with the beginner crocheter in mind.
I've limited the stitches to double crochet so that even those that are only starting on their crocheting journey will be able to master this simple beanie. I've included 7 sizes, from beginner to adult. The hat is created using worsted weight yarn and a 5mm crochet hook (US8 / H). Yardage is included in the pattern.
You will begin with a magic circle and work the hat, top down, ending with the front post double crochet brim. You can add a yarn pom pom or a faux fur pom pom for something extra, or wear it simple, as it is.
