~ DK yarn in any coat color and optionally in white or cream ~ 3mm crochet hook ~ 12mm black plastic eyes ~ if using sew-on eyes, dental floss to attach them ~ embroidery floss and a large, sharp point embroidery needle ~ fiberfill ~ (locking) stitch marker, pair of scissors, yarn needle, pins ~ optional: a small piece of Velcro; a pair of tweezers
Difficulty
Suitable for intermediate level crocheters who are confident with basic stitches (ch, sl st, sc) and frequently used amigurumi techniques (magic ring, invisible decrease). It includes a short row technique which is actually quite simple, but much easier if you already have a safe grip on basics.
The pattern is written in English using US crochet terminology (UK/Aus equivalents provided). It contains many in-progress photos, but also includes a text-only appendix for easy printing.
