The Drew blanket is knitted one square at the time and all the squares are the same, except for the casting on. You can easily make the blanket in a different yarn weight and adjust the needle size according to the yarn. The squares will turn out a different size, but by adding or reducing the number of squares you can make any size blanket you want. You can add as many squares as you wish to make a different size blanket. And best of all, no need to sew the pieces together!
You start with square A, and then you work the bottom row with Square B. Square C make up the edge height-wise and D-squares will fill the rectangle. The sample was made 4x5 squares for a pram size blanket.
