This blanket is made up with a diamond shape granny ‘square’ and joined with a contiguous join method and can be personalised to the exact size you want.
The pattern hold 4 different shapes of the square, you can modify the layout of the finished squares and some layouts will not require the quarter square, lay out the finished “squares” to see if you need to fill the corners with quarter squares or not. In the sample I used quarters on one side, but not the other.
The pattern doesn't contain explanation of the stitches within but does include a photo tutorial of the joining method. The pattern is written in UK terminology (with US terminology explained)
Yarn: MillaMia Super soft cotton, 1ball of Lemon Yellow, 2 balls each of Sweetpea, English rose, Rustic Rose and Baby Blue and 3 balls of Off White.
