You will need 1,180 yards (1079 meters) of main color yarn (MC), the self-striping yarn in the sample.
You will need 625 yards (572 meters) of contrast color yarn (CC), the solid gray yarn in the sample.
The sample wrap used 2 cakes of Lion Brand Mandala yarn in Centaur (color 214) (100% acrylic; 590 yards (540 m) per 150-gram cake) and 2 ½ skeins of Caron Simply Soft yarn in Gray Heather (color 9509) (100% acrylic; 250 yards (228 m) per 141.7 g skein).
