This is a beginner-level knit blanket that uses worsted weight category 4 yarn and US 8 / 5.00mm knitting needles. The blanket was designed as a colorblock, which means that there are three panels or “blocks” of solid colors. All three blocks are equally sized and use the same amount of worsted weight yarn. The entire blanket is knit flat using the Irish Moss Stitch.
The blanket sizes vary as there are 12 available options from lovey (10x10 inches) to king (108x108 inches). The PDF pattern includes a chart of all 12 finished size measurements and yardage requirements for each size.
Make this blanket for a newborn baby, toddler, living room throw, king-size comforter, etc.
