Chale Cosy

The Chale Cosy is the lacier ‘sister’ to the popular Chine Cosy. Like the Chine, it is a lovely versatile piece and can be worn in many different ways. Drape it over the shoulders as a shawlette, pin with a shawl pin or brooch, wrap around the neck once, twice or more as a thick neck warmer or leave it to dangle long and fashionably as a funky scarf…Worked up in worsted weight/Aran yarn, the Chale is a slightly heavier version too and perfect for chilly occasions. The pretty leaf column is bordered with bands of decorative ribbing that give the impression of cabling but without the fuss of actually doing any cable knitting. The ribs also allow the Chale to adapt to being worn ‘stretched out’ or scrunched together to form a narrower scarf, without too much bulk. The pretty looped ruffles on the edges, add a softer look and a little weight; ensuring the piece hangs nicely too...
