A quick knit with bulky yarn, this shrug has a large ruffled collar and sleeves.
I use the CYC standards for sizing, but because this is a garment that doesn't go over the bust, the major measurements that affect it are the cross back measurement and top of arm measurement. These two numbers do vary over sizing, of course, but not as widely as the bust measurements.
Thus:
S size in the pattern corresponds to the XS & S
M in the pattern is M & L
the L in the pattern is XL & XXL
and the XL in the pattern is XXXL and up.
