'Cables and Pompoms' Tea Cosy

Practical and stylish – this cabled tea cosy ticks all the right boxes! Super-chunky/super-bulky yarn means your tea stays hotter longer! And fluffy pompoms add a cheerful touch! Or leave the plaited cord simply tied in a bow.

It is an easy/intermediate knit, knitted flat and sewn up - a very confident beginner should be able to manage - basic knitting skills are needed, plus yarn forward, knit 2sts together and very simple cable, simple even for a first-time cabler! Instructions are written line by line in English, with British and US terms.

I have used Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick - Fig 146, Raspberry 112, Fisherman 99, Blossom 103. Small amounts of yarn from your stash could be used for the pompoms, to keep costs down. Or make all of it in one colour. Or make more than one cosy!
