Détails du produit

These toe-up socks are worked with a high twist sock yarn that makes the stitch pattern pop! Paired yarn overs and decreases create a chevron pattern that is interrupted by arched rows of reverse stockinette. The arches formed look just like the curves of the Brighton Dome, hence the name. Originally designed to celebrate the first Unwind Brighton yarn festival, these socks work up quickly, and are perfect for tonal or semi-solid yarns. Sample shown was worked in Kettle Yarn Co Twist sock yarn.

Skills needed: Judy's Magic Cast On, Jeny's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off, knitting, purling, increases, and decreases. Familiarity with toe-up socks, basic gusset sock construction and short rows needed. Please note: pattern is written for magic loop or two circular needles. Pattern includes charts, but no written stitch pattern instructions.
Gauge: 33 sts/50 rows over 4 in/10 cm in stockinette stitch.
