This stunning crescent shawl begins with just three stitches using a garter tab cast on at the top. With time, waves of sunlight emerge on one end. A little later, little stars emerge on the other end. The center is balanced with stockinette, and the edging is garter (no rolling or folding).
For this shawl, I used a 50/50 silk/merino DK blend from Beloved Yarn. While I HIGHLY recommend this yarn, substituting with another DK weight yarn will work.
