The Berkeley Sweater pattern is a fun, oversized and chunky knit. The pattern can be worked up in about a week and is written for a confident beginner/advanced level knitter. The sweater is knit up in 4 panels and is made up of one front panel, one back panel and two sleeves. All seamed together and then completed with a neckline that is knit along the edge of the sweater collar. The pattern includes sizes S to XL and fits sizes UK8 to 22. The sample is knit in size S.
The techniques you will need to know are knit, purl, 1x1 rib, cast on, cast off, k2tog, ssk1 and intarsia. However, if you are a relative beginner looking for a challenge, photos are included throughout and video links are included at the very end of the pattern.
