This lovely wavy baby-blanket remembers me to the Hungarian lake Balaton (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Balaton). With the wavy Balaton-hat (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/balaton-hat) it would be a perfect gift to a baby-shower.
The size of the blanket is around 18"*22" (47cm*58cm) without blocking but it can be easily modified to a larger/smaller blanket.
The pattern is available in English (USterms) and Hungarian!
