I love snowy owls and have an ornament which inspired me to make this sweet owl.
My Grandchildren told me it looked like Hedwig from Harry Potter so I've included that name in the title and added splashes of black to the wings (optional).
The eye surrounds are fiddly but made in a unique way to make them look so pretty - not hard to do - lots of instructions.
A cat brush would be useful for brushing out the strands in the eye surrounds.
If possible 18mm eyes with clear surrounds are perfect but plain black eyes with felt surround would also be suitable.

- 18mm safety eyes. I used ones with clear around with felt or fabric under them. Any weight yarn and corresponding Hook is ok.
