When my sister Ariel came to me and said "can you make me a hat that looks like..." I tell her, "Yes!" Especially when it's her birthday. So I attempt to make her the hat she wants... But it failed! Big Time! One year later, and much self education, I came up with this pattern and Nailed It! Similar to the "Emilie Bun Beanie" "Ariel" is trendy and unique. She is in love with her hat and I am in love with this pattern. It worked up fast and is fun to make!
This pattern is worked in alternating rounds. The size can be easily modified by increasing or decreasing the pattern by even numbers. This pattern uses less than one typical skein of yarn.
