This is a simple top down design and seamless too! It is a great way to bring out the coloured flecks in tweed yarns such as Rowan's felted tweed. Anouk has a straight neckline requiring no shaping (although an option is given to use short row shaping to raise the back neck). You will also need a very small amount of a second double knitting yarn (just for casting off and the optional crochet trim) 3 buttons 1.5 cm in diameter and a 3.5mm crochet hook to crochet round the neck. Any DK yarn that knits to a standard 22 sts to 4cm would be suitable, although the flecks in Rowan's tweedy yarn make it really stand out.
The inspiration for the name came from one of the characters in one of my favourite books - Chocolat by Joanna Harris.
