Anne's Advent Shawl 2025

There is something about the season of Advent that is so wonderful, counting down the days until Christmas, having a little something to open everyday and for me, a project to work on. Peggy May Yarn’s Anne of Green Gables Advent Calendar is my first ever yarn Advent. At first, I wasn’t sure what I would make with it, but at the end of the summer a simple pattern design came through, something that would be easy to knit, with little eyelet flowers, letting the yarn colour ways shine and be the focus. To make this design come to life, I carefully opened the entire thing in one go, took lots of photos and got to designing. To keep things a secret, the photos are in black and white, but colour photos will be posted and the pattern updated with photos and the dimensions once I have completed mine. I hope you find time during this busy holiday season to sit and knit a few rows every day.
