The Ambrosia Cardigan is a relaxed, slightly cropped, striped cardigan with an alternating eyelet and ribbing pattern. The modified drop shoulder and shaping along the top of the sleeves help to give it a better fit than a traditional drop shoulder silhouette. The cardigan is knit flat from the bottom up in separate pieces that need to be seamed together and then finished with a double knit button band.
Because of the relaxed fit, there is no waist shaping, and thus, the length of the cardigan is easily adjustable by adding more pattern repeats if desired. The suggested positive ease is 1-6 inches.
The pattern is written for use with two colors, but an a additional chart is included with a suggested change for one-color cardigans.
