The Amande socks were inspired by the elegant, elongated shape of almonds, their milky sweetness texture, and their soft, comforting taste.
Amande socks are knit in the round, from the cuff down, with a reinforced heel flap–gusset construction and a rounded toe. The elegant textured pattern, made with a combination of ribs, garter stitch, clusters, and adorned with little nupps, is engaging and pleasant to knit. This pattern is written for circular needles but can be easily adapted to DPN’s.
SIZES 1 (2, 3, 4) To choose your size, measure your foot circumference at the widest point. The socks are intended to be worn with 1.5 to 2.5 cm / 0.5 to 1‘’ of negative ease.
