Penny's Ode to Ireland Blanket

Penny's Ode to Ireland is a Tunisian crochet cabled project, constructed with 5 panels of 6 continuous blocks, separated by 4 vertical strips and a narrow crochet border. The pattern was a successful CAL in my FB group, Walker Hollow Designs in 2017 and accomplished beginners were able to complete this "I can't believe it's not knitted project". This blanket was inspired by a trip to Ireland and visit to the Blarney Woolen Mills. The Tunisian crochet cables were adapted from knitting patterns, awkward at first, but the learning time is short. This pattern is part of The Penny Collection, named for mom. All pattern proceeds donated to animal rescue groups.
