I have recently completed 2 Aran sweaters with this yarn. When it is good it is very good, but when it is bad, it is bad! The very first ball had 3 knots, lots of thick bits which could sometimes be teased off, and also complete breaks in the yarn. The rest of that batch were ok, mostly.
Debbie Bliss Cashmerino is a wonderful yarn to both knit and crochet with. It’s so lightweight yet lovely and warm. The stitch definition is good. It is easy on the hands.
I wondered why it wouldn’t break like wool- it’s tough until knitted when it’s nice soft.
Good soft feel to the wool as you would expect from a cashmere mix. The wool is a little bit uneven and sometimes there is a knot. Have experienced that now from several different brands and find it disappointing.
This yarn is soft and catches the light beautifully. The cashmere blend makes a soft, light fabric with a sleek finish. It knits up quickly and creates a lovely fabric. I am using it for a baby sweater.
The quality and colour of the yarn is excellent. It knits up beautifully. I use it for knitting up an Aran jumper for my daughter.
I like the beautiful soft handle wool. I'm using it for a baby blanket. It is easy to work with and has a nice neat finish.
I like the lovely colours and the soft texture. I'm using it for a blanket. It's more like DK than Aran, and the thickness can be variable thought the skein, which is frustrating.
It is soft yet easy to knit with. It is easy to work with. I use it for a scarf with multiple stitch changes and specific knit stitches.
