Note The shawl features an unusual arrow‒like construction. At first the shawl body is shaped with increases in every row and a central decrease on RS rows. Once you reach the middle of the shawl, each RS row still contains the first increase and central decrease, however each WS row ends with an increase, thus maintaining the total number of stitches. The first part of the shawl is worked in Garter stitch, then the second part is worked in a simple yet effective cable pattern.
