Davy Jones

Davy Jones is a triangular fun knit with beaded ... tentacle-like additions at the two shorter borders.

Since the additions look a lot like the tentacles of a calamari a friend of mine suggested the name Davy Jones, since it personification in the Pirates of the Carribean has some tentacles dangling around his face just like the "Bömsel" of this shawl.

Skills that you need:

• Cast on at the end of the row
• Short Rows
• Add beads

You can use any yarn and needle you want. The pattern shows how to construct the shawl without any gauge or yarn references.

Da die Bömsel so sehr an Tentakel eines Tintenfisches erinnern hat eine Freunding von mir den Namen Davy Jones vorgeschlagen, da die Figur von Davy Jones in den Priaten der Karibik solche Tentakel um sein Gesicht hatte.
