"I made this for my cross stitch addiction."

I’ve been working on this winter scene for three months and finally finished it. I’m pleased with how it turned out after all the hours work. I framed it myself with a 10x8 “ photo frame from Sainsburys which was just the right size. There were a lot of blended colours which was a strand of yarn from two separate colours worked together which was quite fiddly.

What a beautiful picture you’ve made Dianne. 🤩 I missed this one when you posted it. I guess I should check the embroidery site, but sometimes the response time is so slow on this site I’m afraid I give up occasionally! 😅

Hi Dianne, another gorgeous stitching, you certainly are addicted now. 🩷 I've just finished one for a friend who's getting married and I'm waiting for a frame to arrive so I can finish it off. Hope it's not too snowy with you, take care.

@Dianne S: we had about 4 inches thru monday night, (so glad I'm working from home) but nothing since, its just really cold but nothing too unusual 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thanks Catherine, I definitely am addicted and this freezing weather has given me an excuse to stay in and stitch. We’ve only had heavy frost so far but the next few days look more of a worry. Have you had a lot of snow? Looking forward to seeing your finished cross stitch. 💕

Your cross-stitch is beautiful Dianne, I can imagine how hard it would have been with all the whites and greys. The frame is perfect for it.😊😊
