Toge

“Toge” – Thorn in Japanese is a boxy pullover with a thorned line pattern on both sides of the body. It is worked sideways, from the sleeve to the center of the body. The left piece is worked first, the sleeve then the body and the front and back altogether, then the front and back are worked separated to the center. The right piece is worked the same way. After both bodies completed, they are joined at the center using three-needle bind-off. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neck, hem, and sleeves, and all edgings are finished with I-cord bind-off.
