Product Description
The Granny’s Glade Blanket is a large lapghan sized blanket, made up of different coloured classic granny squares and motif flower squares throughout the body, joined using crochet stitches. The border is made up of 9 rounds using double crochet, treble crochet clusters, some mosaic crochet to form the little flowers along the border and half treble crochet for the edging. I’ve used James C Brett Croftland Aran for the beautiful range of rustic, earthy colours and texture. The finished blanket is 40" x 48" (with an option for smaller or larger size).
The pattern uses UK terminology (US terminology is also available as a separate listing) and can be downloaded after purchase. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures to help you make your blanket.
The following stitches/techniques are used: chain, slip stitch, double crochet, half treble crochet, treble crochet, double treble crochet, 2tr-cluster (with instructions), increase, dc2tog, back loop only
