The beanie hat comes in three sizes and is knitted from hem to crown in the round. You start with a long tail tubular cast-on edge that gives a lot of stretch to the hem worked in 1x1 rib stitch. Along the body of the hat, you knit the sophisticated cables and chains of slipped stitches. The decreases for the loosely fitted crown shape are incorporated in the stitch pattern.

Gauge: 25 stitches and 28 rows = 10 cm in Textured St Pattern
