The Chibi Moon Cardigan is a long, slouchy, and relaxed cardigan with roomy pockets for children. The main characteristic is the intarsia colorwork on the back.
In the Chibi Moon Cardigan, the right front, back, and left fronts are knitted in a single piece from the bottom up, starting with the ribbing. The front and back are separated at the armholes during the colorwork of MOON 4. Then the fronts and back are worked separately until the shoulders to create the armhole openings. The sleeves are worked picking up stitches from the armholes, with decreases. Stitches are picked up along the collar, and a ribbing pattern is knitted. Two optional pockets are knitted and attached to each front panel.
