Autumn leaves pillow, garland and wreath

Bring a hint of autumn into your home - these leaves will stay the same throughout the season. I designed this hand knit autumn leaf pillow cover used aran/worsted/#4 yarn. Gauge is important for the cover itself, but you could use oddments of other yarns in warm fall colours from your stash to make the leaves.

The cover will fit a 20"/50cm insert and has an envelope closure with three buttons so that it can be easily removed to change your seasonal décor or for washing if needed.

The pillow is knit first and then each leaf is knit separately and sewn in place to create the design. Add a little stuffing/batting to give a more dimensional look to your wreath.
