Had this yarn for a while n decided it might not be enough to make a jumper for any of the grandsons as they're growing quickly. Decided on this pattern as it's definitely for a girl even with the boyish colour yarn there's no mistaking that. I started knitting the flowers as pattern states, but sewing them on so they sit nicely and actually look like a flower was fiddly n annoying so I gave up n crocheted them instead 🤷 I would suggest not only attaching the flowers to the pocket squares before sewing the pockets to the cardigan, but also sew the button in the centre of the flower too. I forgot and stupidly used shank buttons too so it was more fiddly than necessary. I did size 2-3yrs with a double knit yarn (acrylic with a bit of wool) yet this fits a 20 month old who's slightly small for her age. Could have done with being a tad longer on the body but as with all patterns, the sleeves were still long enough to be turned back.
