My whippet died and I made this lifesize whippet so my two italian greyhounds could cuddle up to it while they got over the loss as they were a really close little group. It is the same colour as the whippet. I didnt add the inner metal wire supports like it suggests, it is just stuffed. Yarn is done as multiple strands knitted at same time so very chunky knit. I bought toy eyes and a toy nose to make it more realistic and added the real dog (Libby's) collar afterwards. Ran out of the main Aldi grey yarn, so the centre neck/chest piece and the back legs are actually dog in a slightly speckled yarn of same thickness and similar shade of grey - have done close up photos to show this and how to assemble underneath
