"I made this for my folksy shop"

I thought I would never get to post these bears as I was locked out of Lovecrafts for a few weeks and no amount of jiggery pokery would get me back in. I was just about to contact the Smiley team to tell them I definitely wasn't smiling and hey presto normal service was resumed. I used a few patterns to make these bears but I've listed Pats Duckweed Duck as it was a new one for me and one of my best acheivement. I loved these hats but needed ear gaps so I made both hats exactly as the pattern and then marked the places and worked out the gaps. Anything involving numbers and maths is challenging for me. I can count a row of stitches three times and get three different answers. But they both turned out fine and I even remembered to jot everything down. 😁

What a pair of sweeties Christine. And beautifully made as always. Doing the hats sounds incredibly complicated to me but they are perfect. 🥰 I’ve also been having dreadful problems with the site locking me out, so I haven’t logged in for some days now. I see it all looks different today and lots of stuff has been posted. I had noticed not much new stuff was appearing. Hopefully it’s OK now. 🤞

Thank you Helen. It was not too difficult in the end. But to be honest I think I only tried it because it was one of Pats patterns. Her instructions and the format she uses is so clear to follow. Nice large print and double spaces for notes. So I find it easy to see exactly where I'm up to. I'm glad everything is back to normal and I wasn't the only one. I had to do the "I'm a human" thing this morning so they've presumably been adding more security.

They're both fabulous Christine. Love their little tops and hats. The little lamb and duck are so cute too. They'll be gone from your shop in no time! Yes Lovecrafts has been a pain for all of us yet again.
