I go every week to the local health centre where the oncology nurses either flush my PICC or take bloods. They’ve also administered iv antibiotics as needed. Over the past couple of years that I’ve been going, they’ve become more like friends and know all about my family and my passion for crafting. Any way I didn’t want to get them chocolates or biscuits as there are always boxes from grateful patients. Instead I decided on making them something. These were just perfect & were very well received. Sister Kate messaged me to thank me and said some were on the little office tree. Others were wearing theirs on their uniforms. Sue said hers was on her uniform but her little granddaughter had adopted it and called it Snowy.
