This is a lovely pattern from Martina Behm. It is simple to knit, though somewhat daunting as it gets wider/longer every row as you make it, so it feels a bit like running in a dream and not seeming to get anywhere. That said, you suddenly find yourself at the end, cast off and you're done. I chose a lovely soft hand-dyed variegated wool 4 ply from Malabrigo which knitted up beautifully. I was amazed that it only used 85g of the 100g skein.
