My nieces needed an advent calendar and when I started crocheting I really liked making different animals. Since their dad is a big fisher and their mom loves the beach I went with an ocean/water animal theme. Some of the animals are patterns from this site that I will try to get seperate pictures of with the patterns posted. Some are my own patterns I have started posting here. The "tree" to hang them on was made by my dad. It probably needs to be a bit bigger as some of the animals were bigger than I planned. Overall I think it is cute and my nieces have been having a good time playing with them! I will be making more as I am sure some will get mixed into their toys over the years!
