Construction Method

This knitting pattern uses a flat construction technique, meaning the main hat body is worked flat on straight needles rather than in the round. The flat construction allows for a simple seam that runs along the hat; however, this seam is strategically hidden by the mane attachment, so finishing perfection is not required. The horn and ears are knitted separately and then sewn onto the completed hat.
