The Answer headband

I have always looked silly in hats. I love to knit them but I don't look good in them, but equally I don't like cold ears. Finally I realised what I needed was a headband that would cover my ears and keep them warm but look better than a hat. I had found The Answer!

The Answer uses less than 100 yards of aran weight or heavy worsted yarn. The textured pattern works up quickly and knitted-on ties fasten the band at the back of the head. Both charted and written instructions for the main band are given; the ties are picked up and knitted on afterwards using written instructions.
