Sunset Baby Ensemble

I can just see a wee baby girl laying in her stroller wearing this cardigan, hat and bootees while her parents watch the setting sun. The yarn is delicate and soft and is very pleasant to knit. This set is worked in Kai yarn that is soft and subtle but yearns for simple stitch designs. I made the cardigan with a fuller skirt that is done in pattern and then the bodice is done with a lace insert at the raglan sleeves. The owl ear bonnet is knit in one piece with a neckband and button. The new design bootees are worked from the sole up and have a tie at the leg. All are easy knits using moss stitch and a pattern variation on the cardy.
